The Myth: “Celebrating failure” is better than “You can’t afford to fail” attitude.

The Fact: Focusing on failure is detrimental. Both attitudes encourage failures.

Here are some better tips to prevent and deal with failures, inspired by Robert Biswas-Diener:

1. Set goals for yourself and expectations for others clearly.

2. When things deviate from your goals and expectations, try to reframe a perceived failure in terms of success.

This is a good example from Muniba Mazari.
